Strategic planning

Through its 2017-2027 strategic plan, Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures seeks to position itself as a city of the future banking on the strengths that make it unique: quality of life, population, strategic localization, education, innovation and sustainable development.

The deployment of the 2017-2027 strategic plan is based on seven priority issues: balanced territorial development, optimized services, sustainable development, continuously improved performance, economic and social returns, skilled human resources and the promotion of a dynamic brand image.

For each of these issues there are guidelines, axes of intervention, objectives and targets to achieve. The strategic plan is a tool for city employees, serving to link actions to targets. It is also our commitment to succeed for the benefit of the entire population.

The strategic plan was developed with the help of the City’s elected officials, its citizens, employees, business people and partners. Many thanks to the 500 individuals from Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures who participated in the online survey!

The City now invites its population to take note of and welcome the strategic plan in order to achieve this vision of the future.
